Why is the song "Change my heart oh God playing?"

I am a Pastor of a small church in Michigan and...

What I see all around me, are people who...

Need to look deeply into a mirror and then say,

Change my heart oh God!

    Do you agree?

Update on Mr. and Mrs. MilesJune 30, 2009Dear GRSBM Alumni,In March, Bill and I went to visit my parents, because dad’s health had gotten so bad that Nelson felt he didn’t have long on this earth.  When we got there we realized we couldn’t leave them alone.  I decided to stay until dad had gone home.  Two months and a half later they had both perked up greatly and agreed to come home with us.  So a month ago they moved into our single wide.I have before me a huge stack of cards and letters from many of you, sharing memories with dad of your school days and what you have been doing since.  I can’t tell you what a blessing those cards and letters have been to both mom and dad. They can be reached here in Idaho at P.O. Box 48, Preston, ID 83263 or by phone at 208- 852-3452.Dad turned 93 on July 1st, weighs 103 lbs. and is as feisty as ever.  Mom is 90, weighs 87 and still does all she can to care for dad.Six years ago Bill and I moved to Preston, (a town 97% Mormon) and planted a church.  I have had a burden to help women coming out of polygamy; (more now than ever before) with a safe place to run to and learn to live in a foreign society outside polygamy.Just this week we signed papers to lease property with an option to buy, on which “El Shaddai Sanctuary and Refuge” can function.  If many of you would pray for us we would so appreciate it.•    For mom and dad as they move.•    For the specific women, God wants us to help.•    For the funds to pay off the property in two years.•    Protection from those who would track those women down.Thank you all so much,Gloria (Miles) Bagley April 2nd 2007Hello,  I hope you all received our last newsletter...   We now have over 225 active members to the site...     Spent some time updating the site today and added a few things...     1. - A link to the Aviation school that is staffed by

GRSBM alumni!

      2. - A new section where we will list alumni who have gone home to their Savior...
(I would like this to be more than a list - Click on the tab for more details)

     3. I added some new music tracks from Melodic Ministries Number 5

     4. Added some names to the missing alumni tab.
(Look it over and let us know if you have current addresses)

Also, we have a Alumni committee meeting this week,

I will let you know if we have any new details on next years reunion...

As always, keep me posted on things you would like to see...

February 23rd  2007

Greetings...

Our latest newsletter has been mailed so I want to welcome back all...
Who have not seen the new upgraded site!

     So what is new???

You have to sign up and become a member, in order visit some areas.
This has eliminated all the spam postings that troubled us...

We have a message board (called the forum)
There you can join in our many discussions, or post a guest book update!

We now have an area called billboard - You can actually list a person you are looking for,
Or a job you are seeking, or an old car you want to give away!

There is a chat room, so you can have a safe place to chat with old friends!
And while chatting, you can click on the music tab and listen to many old songs!

Also, all the members are listed in the directory, so you can search for old friends...
And, you can send me a picture to post in the directory so we can see what you look like today.

In addition, we added a store so you can get an updated copy of our old albums...
We added that section, not to make a profit, but to simply put the albums on CD before they disintegrate.

And on top of all that, we have an area where you can list prayer requests!

So much to talk about, but I will close up with 2 more...

First, in the store you will find a CD containing the eulogy that Dr. Babcock gave at his wifes funeral.
Just let us know if you want a copy and we will send it out to you.

And finally, we have the ability to add surveys to the site, up now is one about salvation.

Please fill it out, and then in the future, if you want to see the survey,
Just click on the submit button without making a choice and the current results will display.

I am always open to suggestions, and look forward to hearing from you....

Thanks for coming back, I hope you find great encouragement here!

      Take care,     Lance

January 6th, 2007

    Welcome to the new year....

I have been listening to the old Griz music this week and have been so impressed...
By the quality of the music, the harmony of the voices...

My favorite choice this week is Melodic Ministries #5...
           Especially, It's a Wonderful Day...

You can click on the new music tab and listen, by next week I should have most of the album posted.

Also, I updated the video welcome...
It seems that Internet explorer is having trouble with the video.
If you are a computer geek, try using Firefox - Everything works fine with that.
I will try to figure out why IE is acting up...
Very happy though that everything else is working so well!

Hope you are enjoying things here on the site...

December 3rd

Winter has arrived here in the mid west...
I am thrilled because I love the start of the season with a chill in the air,
And the snow blowing across the ground...  (of course by February, I am crabbing about it daily!)

My church is working on a cantata and I am excited about all the visitors that attend...
I hope you are excited about this season and the opportunities that it presents...

Now about the site, I added a new section today called billboard.
This is a place for you to post requests...
Some ideas for ads might be:

             Job needs
                Open positions at your church.
Old friends you are looking for:

Maybe you have some old books you want to sell /  swap.

         Let's give it a try!

Lots more pictures coming during the week and new music also...

I am having an energy burst so I might as well jump on it while I can!

P.S. - I left up a question in the forum about Holiday traditions. I like passing on ideas to the folks in my church so let me know what kinds of things you and your family does to make the season special...

P.S.S.  Check out some of the forum discussion on the reformed faith....  Griz alumni still love the art of debate!

P.S.S.S. I am experimenting with a member directory so you can find other members addresses.
Let me know if you think this is something we would like (You can even post a photo)

November 23rd - Thanksgiving day complete and am I full...
We had dinner at church with some of our church family and had a great time...
I pray you had a refreshing time also...

Whats new, well...  I found a way to put video on the site so I made up a video blog section.

It will be a place for me to greet our visitors and maybe comment on life in general...

Click on the video welcome tab and then the "click here" symbol...

If you are having trouble it is probably because you need quick time to view it...

Lot's to talk about with the holidays upon us...   But that will be next week!

November 17th, 2006 -

68 members - wow, but we have to come up with something for the chat rooms.
We our busy schedules, no one ever seems to be in there.
I am thinking of maybe having Sunday nights after church as a time to meet and chat?
Not sure if anyone is interested, give me some feedback.

November 12th - Hey....

This is what a cd looks like if you purchase one from us...

I posted a sample track from this album in our music section...

The nice part is, the music tab opens a new window so you can listen...
While you browse around or chat!

I also added a few albums to the store for you!

 November 5th
59 members so far....  I would like to break 100 by Thanksgiving but...
I think until a new newsletter goes out, only the faithful have checked in..

Have a great day, take a look at some teacher pictures I posted including...
   Mikey M.

New things - I put a guest book in the forum section...
This web host does not have a guest book option so we have to improvise...
Log in and update us by year!

 October 20th, 2006
       Promises / Promises / Promises...

Finally the new site has arrived.
As mentioned I am building this myself so excuse typo's and other mistakes.
But since I am doing it, I can make the changes so, let me know...
What do you like? Not like?
      I changed things so you must join before you can post anything;
That should eliminate any of the offensive posting from the old site...

Also I added a donation button and a store,
So you purchase some of the recordings I transferred to CD.

Remember, all donations are used for the goals listed
The bottom line is there is no administration fees, it all goes to what you see...
(Side meaning: No one gets paid a dime for this!)

Check the financial tab for more details...
     The only change is:

If you click on the donation link;
It will take you to Pay Pal
(This is a trusted on line bank owned by Ebay)

When giving that way,
Just make a note if the donation is to go to:
       Reunions
         Newsletters
            Web site maintenance...
The Lance is a nice guy fund (just kidding)

Any other questions let me know, even the new email to me is working!
